Inelet is a village in Cornereva commune, Caras-Severin county, Banat, Romania. It is one of the most isolated hamlets in Romania. It is located in the Cernei Mountains in Caras-Severin county, and access is via four wooden stairs, with a total length of approximately 100 meters. After climbing the stairs, there is a path through the forest, and Inelet can be reached in about two hours on foot. The wooden stairs are decades old, but they still hold up.There is no electricity in Inelet and several dozen people live here in the houses scattered on the mountain. At night, gas lamps are lit in Inelet. Here, the villagers still wear opinci and get supplies from a shop two hours away. A few children are studying at the village school. The priest comes to the village church once every two weeks to officiate a service. Inelet can also be reached by a path that goes through the forest, located approximately 16 kilometers from Baile Herculane by crossing the Cerna river on Stoian's bridge, but the route takes at least four hours and the villagers are too old for such a path.
