Vevey is a city in the canton of Vaud, Switzerland, located on the northeast shore of Lake Leman, not far from Lausanne in the west. It was originally a settlement of the Roman Empire and later developed into a trading center. Nestlé is headquartered here. Vevey has beautiful scenery and attracts many celebrities to live here. As of the end of 2010, the total population was 18,394.
