Verdi`s Attila from the Scala invades the city with the First Widespread First diffused: historical re-enactments On the weekend of 1 and 2 December 2018, the protagonists of the Verdi opera will live again in the characteristic spaces of the Castello Sforzesco. `Attila`s one-armed ranks will face the legions of Ezio, the last brave Roman general who defeated the Hun in the Battle of the Catalaunic Fields. During the two days it will be possible to visit the Roman camp and the barbarians, watch duels between Germanic warriors and games of skill among knights Huns, pull with historical arches, follow the activities of the artisans engaged in iron forging and discover the origins of falconry. In the light of braziers, actors-narrators will tell the most mysterious passages of the life of Attila, who for twenty years held in check the two Roman empires, but whose dominion, after death, dissolved like snow in the sun.
