Pictured is the Uvalde Memorial Fountain dedicated December 26th, 1961 in Uvalde, Texas. The mayor was Melvin Rowland and the architect was John S. Graves. The three tiered fountain is at the center of an approximately 30 feet concrete pool. Four diagonal crosswalks lead to the fountain at the cent of the Uvalde Town Square. It is currently surrounded by memorial crosses for the victims of the Robb Elementary School shooting May 24th, 2022. In the background is the historic Kincaid Hotel.
