This is very rare sight. Sri Lanka's Colombo Fort President's house or King house was formerly known as the King's or Queen's House. This is the palace that has been used as the official residence of the country's leaders since the clonial period. The last Dutch governer, Engel Beak, built the first two-storied building on this land adjacent to the port of colombo. Before that , St.Francis Church was located in this place. Adjacent to the church is a cemetry.
