Changi Airport is a major international airport at the eastern end of Singapore, and is one of the largest transportation hubs in Asia. Terminal 2 officially opened in 1991 and had been closed for upgrading works since May 2020. T2 has been reopening progressively from May 2022 and is expected to have a handling capacity of 28 million passengers by 2024.
