Los Angeles, United States - Oct 27, 2013: People meander around outside Union Station located in the northeast corner of downtown Los Angeles. The station originally opened in 1939 and became known as the Last of the Great Railway Stations built in the United States. It was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980 and has been owned by the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority since February 2011.
