The National Museum of Folk Architecture and Life of Ukraine is an architectural and landscape complex of all historical and ethnographic regions of Ukraine: Polissia, Slobozhan Oblast and Poltava Oblast, Carpathians, Dnipro Oblast, Podillia and the South. The open-air museum, founded on February 6, 1969, is located on the southern outskirts of Kyiv - the historical land that once belonged to the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra. He received his first visitors in 1976.
