The entrance tunnel to the Turda Salt Mine Salina Turda, which goes some 850 meters down into the Earth. The mine functioned from the ancient times up to 1932; it was declared a historical monument in 2010 and renovated as a touristic attraction. The Turda Salt Mine was described by Business Insider as the most beautiful underground place in the world.
