Ten young men celebrated their success of the long journey by bike from Chengdu to Lhasa in front of the Potala Palace in Lhasa in Tibet.They come from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in Wuhan city ,Hubei Province of Central China.Their names are(from left):Jinrong Zhang,Huilin Wu,Yang Liu,Lian Gao,Hui Gan,Shuang Liu,Hao Wu,Luyang Du,Yali Zhang,Di Fan.They spent 29 days in the journey ,totally by bicycle. Each year ,about two thousand young Chinese boys and girls go vacation to Lhasa in Tibet of western China from Chengdu of Sichuan Province or Dali of Yunnan Province or some other places by bicycle.The total distance is 2,167 kilometers.There are 14 high mountains on the way,mostly more than 4,000 meters above sea level.And the roads are not always flat but full of dangerous.They go to Tibet for some reasons:wonderful landscape,proof their persistence ,enjoy the tiredness journey,look for personal experience of long trip all by themselves.They are mostly 18-26 years old,young Chinese,they are open minded and good at learning the outside world.
