Matosinhos, Portugal - August 1, 2015: Sculptural ensemble by Jose Joao Brito, located in Matosinhos beach near the port of Leixoes, inspired by a painting of Augusto Gomes, remembers the greatest nautical tragedy ever recorded on Portuguese waters, the tempest of December 1947, causing the death of 152 crew members.
