The architecture of the presidential palaces (or palaces) in Indonesia's various kingdoms and territories is often based on the region's unique domestic style. However the grander and more elaborate pendopo of traditional architecture is the tallest and largest hall in the complex. As the seat of the ruler, it is the center of sacrificial rituals and is normally off-limits. Bali's palaces, such as the Puliagun in Gianyar Village, use traditional straw-shaped structures that have combined European elements with traditional elements over the past two centuries, although they are more refined and luxurious than domestic residences.
