Bathed in the warm light of the setting sun, these are the stairs of the eastern end of Darya Khan Lohani`s tomb. Built on a raised platform that can be climbed from three directions, this tomb is truly unique for its peculiar design. The grave lies at the center of the podium & its surrounded by four chhatris at each end. The structure had been restored by NBCC as part of their CSR initiative when they re-developed the whole area around it to build multi-story residential apartments for government employees in Naoroji Nagar.
