Pictured is a tile painting of Carmen Amay, the famous flamenco dancer from Barcelona. She lived from 1913 to 1963 and went from a poor four-year-old gypsy girl performing day and night with her poor guitarist father to being known worldwide as the model of the flamenco dance. This work is decorating the outside of a business and was seen walking along a sidewalk in Barcelona, Spain.
