Panthera tigris or simply Tiger is the largest living wild cat. The cat is recognised by the vertical black stripes on its body which is covered with orange fur. The cat has a large mane and long whiskers. Tigers are identified by its stripes as these have pattern and are different for each tiger. In India it is called the Royal Bengal tiger and sometimes the Siberian Tiger. The Tiger has a muscular body,strong fore limbs,large head and a tail which is half the length of its body. Tigers are found in almost all Indian Forest.
