Kadato Kie (Tidore Sultanate Palace),also called Kedaton Tidore,is the palace where the sultan of the Tidore Sultanate resides. This palace is located in Soasio Village,Tidore District,Tidore Islands City. Initially, after the conflict with the Portuguese and Spanish,Sultan Syaifuddin or Kaicil Golofino moved the capital to Limau Timore,a kedaton was built with the name Kadato Ijo which later became known as Fola Ijo,this was because the building was colored green. Based on the book by Amin Faruk,Prime Minister of Tidore,Kedaton was then built more widely and permanently in 1812 during the time of Sultan Muttahiddin Muhammad and continued until 1856 during the time of Sultan Ahmad Syaifuddin. The name Limau Timore then changed its name to Soa Sio as it is now. Naman because of Dutch politics and the conflict Kedaton was destroyed in 1912 during the time of Sultan Syahjuan. It was only in 1997 that redevelopment began at the encouragement of Sultan Djafar Syah, and was built in 2004 and completed in March 2010
