Crystal clear waters of the Verkhneuralsky reservoir in July 2021. A light wind on the water drew a reflection of clouds on the mirror surface of an artificial lake. The air clouds in the blue sky run far beyond the horizon into the endless distance. The forest area of the peninsula separates the blue sky from the water mirror. The reservoir was built for the needs of the Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works in 1960, is an object of tourism and fishing. The dam of the reservoir is more than 1.5 kilometers long. Turbines are installed at the dam to generate electricity.
