The St. Petersburg Rostral Columns (or Rostral Columns) are two monumental rostral pillars located on the spit of Vasilievsky Island in St. Petersburg, Russia. They were built in the late 18th century to commemorate Russian naval victories during the Russo-Turkish War of 1768-1774. The columns are 36 meters (118 feet) high and are adorned with bronze statues of rostral figures
