Ortisei in German: St. Ulrich in Gröden is an Italian municipality, in the autonomous province of Bolzano, in the region of Trentino-Alto Adige, in northeastern Italy. Ortisei is the capital of the Val Gardena and is located in the Dolomites, about 40 km north-east of Bolzano and 15 km from the Isarco valley where the highway passes to the Brenner Pass.
