Borobudur is the largest Buddhist temple in the world composed of andesite rock types, and has a basic stepped punden structure, with six square courts, three circular courts and a main stupa as the peak. In addition, there are several stupas scattered throughout the courtyard. Borobudur Temple is erected on a hill or row of small hills extending in the direction of West-Southwest and East-Southeast with a length of ± 123 m, a width of ± 123 m and a height of ± 34.5 m measured from the surrounding flat ground with a flat hilltop.
