Former statue was removed, but the city decided to restore the Štefánik Memorial. The work was commissioned to the sculptor Juraj Gavula, who completed the statue to its original form based on photographs over the course of two years and also restored other parts of the memorial. The reconstructed memorial was re-revealed on April 30, 2006 at its original location. Europe, Slovakia.
