Pictured is a small stone statue titled `The Shepherdess` located in W. J. Thomas Park in Carrollton, Texas. The piece was donated to the City of Carrollton by the Morning Garden Club in May 1976 in honor of the U.S. Bicentennial. Shortly after installation, the original statue was vandalized. The City of Carrollton then had a new statue created to replace it. It is part of the public art collection of Carrollton.
