Pictured is the public latrine at the Archaeological Site of Volubilis in Morocco. The latrine had marble seats the patricians had slaves warm by sitting on them before their use. Volubilis is a Unesco World Heritage site, listed as an exceptionally well preserved example of a large Roman colonial town on the fringes of the Empire.
