Frikes is the seaport of Platrithias, which, according to the archaeologists, used to be the Homeric harbor Rithros.The port of Frikes is located in northern Ithaca and connected to the ports Vassiliki and Nidri in southern Lefkada. Frikes is a fishing village of northern Ithaca.Ithaca or Ithaka is a Greek island located in the Ionian Sea, off the northeast coast of Kefalonia and to the west of continental Greece. Ithaca`s main island has an area of 96 square kilometres .
