View towards the church, called Prophet Ilia, on Kajmakchalan. This church was built to remember the victims of the First World War battle fought here in 1916. The mountain top is on the Greek-Macedonian border near Florina (Greece) and Bitola ( Macedonia / FYROM). The battle of Kajmakchalan was a famous WWI battle and was fought between 12 and 30 September 1916, between the Serbian army and the Bulgarian army.
