The Jama Masjid, located in the heart of Old Delhi, India, is one of the largest mosques in the country. It was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the mid-17th century and can accommodate up to 25,000 worshippers at a time. The mosque features three large gates, four towers, and two 40-meter-high minarets made of red sandstone and white marble. The courtyard of the mosque is paved with marble and can hold up to 25,000 people during important festivals. The mosque also houses several relics, including an ancient Quran written on deer skin. It remains a popular tourist attraction and an important religious site for Muslims in India.
