The cabin of Peter the great - the first building in St. Petersburg, summer house of king Peter I in the period from 1703 to 1708 years. This small wooden house 60 m2 was built by soldiers carpenters close to Trinity square in just three days - 13 (24) may-15 (26) may 1703[1]. Here 16 (27) may was celebrated on the occasion of the annexation of land and the Foundation of the new city. In 1930 the house was opened as a Museum, where artifacts of the era and the authentic belongings of the Emperor himself.
