East Point Lighthouse is the second oldest in New Jersey, Built in 1849, it is still active today for safety of maritime transportation. It was designed and built in a unique Cape Cod style. The lighthouse can be seen along with many other historic and educational buildings and views along the Heritage Trail of New Jersey. Managed by the U.S. Coast Guard
