The Temple is located in Xicheng District, Beijing. It was the place where the Ming and Qing emperors worshipped the wise emperors of all dynasties, established in 1373. The Hall of Admiration for Virtue and Sages, which was built in 1530, adopts the highest form of ancient Chinese architecture, nine-room wide (51m) and five-room deep (27m).
