The gold beetle & x28;Asclepias curassavica; Sundanese: cotton cindé; Javanese: mas sekar& x29; is a shrub plant and belongs to the Asclepiadoideae plant subfamily of the Apocynaceae family.[2] This flowering plant originates from North America, but can also be found in Indonesia. One of the places where it spreads is Mount Prau.[3]
