This is one of the gallows of Amir timur or Tamerlane, a Mongol descendant and a fierce and brutal ruler of his time. When he invaded the then Indo-Subcontinent, he built this prison. It was designed in a slide or inclined shape and the slope of the slide was embedded with razor sharp knives and swords. They used to throw the prisoners from top in that slide and the prisoner would rolled down to the bottom killing him with a agony and suffering beyond imagination. Its located on the Pak-Afgan International Border, Torkham.
