The Fluviá River (in Catalan Fluvià) is a river in the northeast of the Iberian Peninsula that originates in the Collsacabra mountains (Falgars d'en Bas) and empties into the Mediterranean in the Ampurdán Marshes, near the town of San Pedro Pescador. , after traveling 70 km through the Catalan regions of La Garrocha and Alto Ampurdán. The main tributaries of the Fluviá river are the Ser, the Gurn, the Llierca and the Oix. Its width at the mouth is just over 100 m, although interrupted by a coastal bar that almost completely closes off the river waters.
