Musa coccinea Andrews is a tall perennial herb in the family Musaceae and genus Musa. Overlapping leaf sheaths to form pseudostems The leaves are large and round in shape, without white powder, and the base is round and significantly asymmetrical The petiole has narrow wings Inflorescence upright The bracts are bright red and bright, with a pink inner surface and obvious folds. Each bract has a row of flowers, and the perianth is milky yellow Berry, straight, gray white, without edges, sloping upwards and drooping downwards. There are plenty of seeds. The flowering period is in summer and autumn.
