Solandra maxima (Sess é&Moc.) P.S. Green is a perennial evergreen large vine in the Solanaceae family and the Golden Cup Vine genus. The stem and branches are thick and robust. Leaves alternate. Long oval shape. The apex is pointed. The leaf surface is glossy. The whole plant contains toxic milk. The flowers are terminal, single or several, and the flower buds are mallet shaped. Change from green to light yellow. When flowering, the corolla is cup-shaped. Light yellow. Native to Central America. There are introduced and cultivated plants in Guangdong South China Botanical Garden, Fujian Xiamen Botanical Garden, Quanzhou, Taiwan and other places in China.
