As the spiritual abode of the Troyan Monastery is the third largest in Bulgaria, and a remarkable cultural monument of national importance. According to historical data monastery on this place it was originally founded in 1600 and renewed in its present form in 1830-1865, respectively. By its architectural style, he ranked among the schools of the Renaissance period.
