Lake Fedaia is a lake mirror located at 2054 meters above sea level at the foot of the Marmolada mountain and almost entirely occupies the vast esplanade of the Fedaia Pass, in the full territory of Canazei, a mountain village in the province of Trento. In reality it is right to speak of two lakes: the first, larger, was formed following the construction of the Controdiga di Maria al Lago, 60 meters high the smallest of the Fedaia lakes, on the other hand, is natural and was formed after a morainic dam. The dam is accessible by car but the shore of the lake located at the foot of the Marmolada, can only proceed on foot.
