The monument to Lenin in front of the House of Soviets in St. Petersburg, Russia, is an imposing bronze statue representing the symbol of the Soviet era. Inaugurated in 1970, the statue depicts Vladimir Lenin, the founder of the Soviet Union, standing on a pedestal with outstretched arms. The statue is 23 meters tall and weighs 36 tons.
