The eastern section ends with the Victoria Pier, where Princess Victoria landed in 1833. The buildings on the Cobb includes a Marine Aquarium. Fishing from the top promenade, can result in catching Bass, Mackerel, and Wrasse. The Cobb was used as a film location, The French Lieutenant`s Woman, film of 1981 with Meryl Streep and Jeremy Irons.
