Pictured is The Church of San Biagio just outside the town walls of Montepulciano, Italy. It is considered one of the finest examples of Renaissance architecture in Tuscany. The church is dedicated to Saint Blaise, the patron saint of throat and chronic ailments. It was designed by the architect Antonio da Sangallo the Elder and construction began in 1518. It took several decades to complete, with additions made by other architects and craftsmen.
