Pictured is the Chrismon Santi Ambrosii inside the Milan Cathedral in Milan, Italy. It is a marble slab with Chi-Rho monogram and Alpha and Omega in a circle. It is traditionally associated with Saint Ambrose. A frame with inscriptions was added to the 4th century piece in 1669. The English interpretation of the words on the plaque below is `The circle here contains the name of the Highest King, whom you see without beginning or end; Alpha and Omega signify the beginning and end for you`.
