The historical building of the General Archive of the Indies in Seville, up to this day, still houses the gargantuan amount of old historical documents, maps, cargo manifestos amongst other things. While they are not freely available to the public, a peek of some that can be seen from the outside give a glimpse on the breadth of the Empire in the past, with exploits that made the country the richest in the world at that time, and Seville as the most important cities for world trade.
