The bandotan plant (Ageratum conyzoides Linn.) is known as a wild plant from the Asteraceae family and has various biological and pharmacological activities. One of the pharmacological activities that is the main focus of researchers is wound therapy. The use of various parts of the bandotan plant in open wound therapy began several years ago and is still frequently used today. Bandotan in Indonesia is a potential weed in plantations and rice fields. This plant can grow easily in shady to open places, on river banks, roadsides and in grassy fields.
