The terra-cotta warriors and Horses were buried with the first emperor of The Qin Dynasty more than 2,200 years ago. In 1987, the Mausoleum of The First Emperor of Qin and the pit of terra-cotta Warriors and horses were approved by UNESCO to be included in the World Heritage List and hailed as the `eighth wonder of the World`.
