The Tera is a river in northwestern Spain, a tributary of the Esla River, which with a length of 139 km drains a basin of 2412 km² in the province of Zamora. The Tera River is born in Peña Trevinca, in the municipality of Porto, in the province of Zamora, and flows into the Esla River in the municipality of Bretocino, in the province of Zamora.
