The market square in Kamienna Góra, also called Freedom Square, is the central square of the city. It was built on a rectangular plan. Interestingly, the market square has retained the architectural layout from the Middle Ages and has survived in almost unchanged form to this day.In the center of the market square there are numerous benches and beautiful green flower beds under which you can take shelter during hot weather.The square is surrounded by historic tenement houses, mainly in the Baroque style, from the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries, many of them with charming arcades. It is worth knowing that in the tenement house at number 11 there is the Lower Silesian Weaving Museum.There is no town hall in the market square in Kamienna Góra. This representative city facility is located a bit further, about 400 m from the market square.The tenement houses also house numerous restaurants from which we can admire the lazy life of the small town as well as its unique monuments.
