The Orthodox in Romania celebrate Saint Mary on August 15 . It’s the main celebration of Saint Mary, the Assumption , with a second one on September 8, celebrating St. Mary’s birth . Pilgrims people dressed in white and singing hymns dedicated to the Virgin Mary, walk together towards the monasteries in the area.
