Systemic therapy works with different, practically oriented methods. one of them is the so called family constellations or systemic constellations: a client asks other workshop participants to represent people or concepts from her own personal life, indicating where they should stand, how they should look, etc. under the guidance of a counselor, this `constellation` is then altered until a possible solution for a given conflict or problem is found in an intuitive manner.
