Cultivating corn will be a fun activity. However, please note, corn is a summer crop which should be planted after the soil temperature reaches 16 degrees Celsius. This is because corn planted in cold and wet soil may not germinate. The best air temperature for growing corn is between 16 and 35 degrees Celsius. Apart from that, corn only takes between 60 and 100 days to be harvested. It depends on the variety as well as the amount of heat during the growing season.
