Dove scientific name: Streptopelia orientalis is a bird of dove family, which has 6 subspecies. The turtledove is similar in sex. The forehead and the front of the head are blue gray, and the back of the head to the back of the neck turn to chestnut brown gray. There is a blue gray black feather on both sides of the neck base, forming a significant black gray neck spot.
