Singer Steve Lawrence sings at the Chicago Theatre in Chicago, Illinois, in 1983. The crooner was also an actor, comedian, and part of a famous duo with his vocalist wife, Eydie Gorme. He was known for his mellow baritone. They were married over 55 years until her passing in 2013. Their heyday was from the 1950s and well into the 1980s, and they were mainstays in Las Vegas. His show business career spanned over 60 years. Steve Lawrence died from complications of Alzheimer's disease at his home in Los Angeles at the age of 88 on March 7, 2004.
